According to the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE), IT service exports represent 6.2% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).In 2018, Costa Rica exported $3.3 billion in IT-related services and, according to the 2019 Global Innovation Index, is the second most innovative Latin American, behind Chile.
